TrueTime Winsync 2.1

WinSync is used to keep the time accurately synchronized to a trusted network time reference. It is well known that clocks on computers are notorious for drifting, and this can lead to serious network operations problems. It alleviates these problems by regularly updating the computer`s clock to the correct time. The resulting accurate synchronization is essential for many mission critical network operations and applications, and particularly important for network log file accuracy to improve network fault diagnosis and forensics. The default time sources are the network time servers at NIST, USNO, and TrueTime, Inc. For WinSync to work through a firewall, port 123 must be open.
