Merlin for Linux is a secure and comprehensive instant messaging solution. Built on open protocols like Jabber, it allows organizations to cut costs and have greater control over their communication environment. Server installation is simple even for novice Linux users. Using Merlin Manager, a Windows based GUI admin program to manage Merlin server, any user can configure and manage the server remotely. You can add users, create conference rooms and start and stop the server without typing a single Linux command.

After downloading the tar file, follow the instructions given in the Readme file. Please download Merlin Manager which is a Windows based administration tool for managing the Merlin server.
